Vocabulary Review
There will be no written quiz (for now).  However, in order to make sure you practice the vocabulary we've learned so far, please study the EGL112 Memrise set.  The goal is to 'learn' all words.  Memrise App: Android    Apple (I will check your Memrise status Oct. 28).
One-on-on conversation with Jeff
I will meet one-on-one with each of you. I will ask some basic small talk/ get acquainted questions. I will then ask questions about some of the work you've submitted.  This can include your entrance questionnaire, timeline, or anything you've posted in the Band. You should then choose one of the topics we covered in class (Travel, TV/Movies, Table Talk, Family/Chuseok, or Food). I will ask you a couple of questions about that topic.   Feel free to ask me questions or bring up anything else you'd like to discuss. The goal is to have a genuine conversation - you can prepare some things you'd like to say, but please do NOT memorize anything.  List of all Discussion Questions

Phrasal Verbs
Phrasal verb is the name given to an English verb which is composed of two or three words. One verb is combined with a preposition (like on, in, under) or an adverb (like up, down, away). Sometimes a phrasal verb can have a meaning that is very different to the meaning of at least one of those two or three words separately
